I setup an on-demand e-commerce company in India in 2019, primarily depending upon marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry for sales and customer acquisitions.
The model does not stock up too much on inventory, instead curates 1000s of products and procures stocks only upon receiving confirm orders.
The business model has crossed over Rs 3 crores in revenue since inception.
ALSHOP.com (Jun 2008 - Mar 2016)
Bootstrapped an online retail store catering primarily to Middle East customers. Operated the business for about 9 years with a team of over 300+ individuals. Achieved a cumulative GMV of over US$100M+ with product categories spanning from electronics, cosmetics, toys, home appliances and others.
